Skip 1 st, sc in next st, (sk 1 st, ch 3, sc in next st); rep around, sl st to join.

(ch 3, dc in next 3 ch sp, ch 3, sc in next sc) 8 times.  Sl st to previous sl st to join. Bind off.  (8 small petals as seen below)

Sc with a new yarn, ch 10

Sc into same st (a loop is made), ch 3.

Working from the back of petal, sc into next sc.

Repeat instructions for the last 2 photos 8 times. Sl st to join. (8 loops)

11 sc into the loop, ch 2.

Make 11 more sc into same loop to complete the petal, skip the 3 ch sp, sc into next loop.

Repeat instructions for the last 2 photos 8 times. Sl st to first sc to join. Bind off. (8 large petal)

Join a new yarn on a tip of any petals, ch 3 (stand for 1 dc), dc in same sp, ch 2, 2 dc in same sp, ch 5…

[YO 3 times, dtr into the 3 ch sp 2 rounds below, ch 5, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) into next petal], ch 5]; 7 times, sl st to tip of 3 ch to join.Bind off.
